TRAVEL SERVICES RESERVATION AND BOOKING – GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introductory Note

The general conditions for offering tourist package are part of the contract between Vanis , as a travel agency or authorized agent, and the traveller who accepts the offered arrangement. Everything that is listed in the general conditions represents a legal commitment for the guests, as well as for Vanis The general travel conditions are published on the Internet pages of Vanis

2. Bookings and contracting

By booking of the selected the customer completely accepts these Terms and Conditions for booking a tour, which he/she has previously carefully studied. During the booking, and for the purpose of reserving the selected service, the customer pays 30% of the price of the package (per person), unless it is stated differently in the program. The balance to the full price of the package is to be paid at the latest 15 days before the start of the tour, unless it is stated differently in the program (an exception is payment in installments).

3. Package price and contents

The package price includes the services as shown on our web site. The package price does not include (unless agreed otherwise):

· Optional (unobligatory) excursions and visits,

· Tickets for facilities to be visited

All types of special services shall be paid by the customer himself/herself and must be ordered by him/her during booking.

If a customer asks for a special service during the tour, he/she shall pay for it directly to the Vanis representative.

4. Right to price increase and right to cancellation due to price increase

The prices of travel services are given in Euro, so the calculation in Kuna is according to the exchange rate of the NBH (Narodna Banka Hrvatske) on the day on which the account is carried out. Vanis has the right of changing the given prices if the accommodation facility changes the prices of the accommodation. Vanis d.o.o can inform customers on the change in writing or verbally.

A customer may cancel the tour free of charge in case a price change exceeding 10% in relation to the contracted one occurs, at the latest within 48 hours after the receipt of the written notice. If the customer fails to cancel the tour within the stated term either by personal visit to a Vanis d.o.o point-of-sale or in writing, it shall be deemed that he/she agrees to the changed price.

The published prices are the result of the Vanis d.o.o contract with partners and they may not correspond to the prices stated on the spot, at the destination in which the customer is staying.

5. Categorization and description of services

The accommodation facilities offered in Vanis programs are described according to the official categorization of the respective country valid at the moment of the publication of the program.

6. Cancellation policy

If the traveller wants to cancel the reserved travel service, he has to do it in writing (e-mail, fax). The cancellation costs will be calculated from the date on which Vanis receives a written request for the cancellation, and it is as follows:

· For the cancellation up to 30 days prior the arrival, Vanis charges for handling and administration fees, which is 10% of the total amount, at least kn 100, for the rented travel service. The rest of the money is returned to the traveller at expense of the receiver.

· For the cancellation in the period between 29 and 22 days prior the arrival, Vanis charges for handling and administration fees, which is 30% of the total amount for the rented travel service. The rest of the money is returned to the traveller at expense of the receiver.

· For the cancellation in the period between 21 and 15 days prior the arrival, Vanis charges for handling and administration fees, which is 50% of the total amount for the rented travel service. The rest of the money is returned to the traveller at expense of the receiver.

· For the cancellation in the period between 14 and 7 days prior the arrival, Vanis charges for handling and administration fees, which is 80% of the total amount for the rented travel service. The rest of the money is returned to the traveller at expense of the receiver.

· For the cancellation in the period between 7 and 0 days prior the arrival, Vanis charges for handling and administration fees, which is 100% of the total amount for the rented travel service.

If the traveller does not arrive to the destination or cancels the service of the accommodation after it began, Vanis charges the complete amount for the rented travel service.

The stated costs of cancellation shall also apply on changes of the departure date or the type of the accommodation facility, i.e. the type of the room/apartment, as well as on other major changes.

7. Cancellation by Vanis d.o.o or change of program

If the sufficient number of passengers has not booked the program, Vanis reserves the right to cancel the travel but at the latest 3 days prior to the tour start date. The minimum number of passengers required for a specific travel shall be specially marked on each program/package. Vanis also reserves the right to a full or partial change of the tour program in case before the tour start date extraordinary circumstances occur that could not have been anticipated or avoided.

8. Vanis d.o.o obligations

Vanis is obliged to take care about providing of services, as well as about the choice of service providers and to take care about the customers' rights and interests.

Vanis is obliged to provide to the customer all the contracted services for a particular package, and to provide answers in case of eventual failure to perform services or a part of services. Vanis shall fulfill all the mentioned obligations from its programs completely and as described, except in the event of Force Majeure or changed circumstances. In such cases, Vanis shall offer a substitute solution if that is possible.

Vanis is not obliged to provide services beyond these Terms and Conditions.

9. Customer's obligations

The customer is obliged to take care that he/she personally meets the conditions anticipated by the regulations of the Republic of Croatia and the country through which or to which he/she travels, and to observe the house rules in hotel and other facilities, as well as to cooperate with the representative of the organizer and with service providers.

The customer shall be personally responsible for any damage he/she causes, particularly for the damage arisen as the consequence of failure to observe the contract and these General Terms and Conditions. The customer shall cover the damage he/she caused immediately at the hotel reception desk and at another place stipulated by the physical or legal person to which he/she caused the damage.

10. Final provisions

These General Terms and Conditions are an integral part of the Contract that a customer concludes with Vanis i.e. an authorized travel agency in which he/she booked a travel organized by Vanis Possible/anticipated deviations from these Conditions must be stated with the text of the tour program. By making the transaction , the customer fully accepts the program and the conditions of the travel. This issue of the Terms and Conditions of travel includes all the earlier issues.
